Description

snaggletooth2
Snaggletooth is a Motorhead tribute band from the north of the dutch province Limburg. They started in 2005 with Roel "Rule" Sanders (Inhume, God Dethroned). Except Roel Snaggletooth is also John "JFK" Kuijpers (Rock Fiction, PIT) on guitar and Michel "Mitch" Janssen (Pygmees Lanced, Sleazy Dreams) on bass and vocals. Each of them already has a lot of experience and enough decibel to their ears, and are ready to pay their tribute to the worlds loudest bands!

DUTCH PANTERA TRIBUTE

cfh
When Haraszment was asked to do a 20 minute show of their favourite band for an All Star evening hosted at their home club OJC Canix in the winter of 2008, there was no doubt it had to be Pantera. Haraszment was a band where every member had their own influences, but in the end Pantera was the common influence, and after this show Cowboys from Hell was born. At that time Haraszment had shared the stage with bands like Imperia/Angel (Norway), Betzefer (Israel), El Guapo Stuntteam (Belgium), Cyrcus (Germany) Peter Pan Speedrock (NL), Powervice (NL), The Spades (NL), tons of local bands, friends and several local festivals. Formed in 2001 as a dirty rock band and after a few line-up changes, their sound became more aggressive. In 2005 they had found their ideal line-up and at that time the sound of Pantera was clearly noticeable in their songs. Haraszment evolved like Pantera did when they started as a glam band in the early 80’s. Now Cowboys from Hell has completed their set with songs like Domination, Walk, Mouth for War, Strength beyond Strength, 5 Minutes alone and of course Cowboys from Hell. And new songs are still added to the set. www.cowboysfromhell.nl HELLYEAH FUCKIN' A !!!

powerslave

If you think that coverbands are a weak substitute from the original, then you should come and see the Dutch Iron Maiden tribute Powerslave.

When this well oiled machine starts running there is no way of stopping it. The high standard of classic songs like The Number Of The Beast, Run To The Hills, The Trooper, Fear Of The Dark and numerous other songs are a proof that Powerslave knows how to play these Iron Maiden songs.

Powerslave played several larger events: The annual "Sjwaampop" festival in Swalmen, the "Paaspop" festival in Schijndel and the metal temple of the Netherlands: the Dynamo in Eindhoven.

The high voice of Don "the siren too" Feltgens, the dueling guitar parts of Steven "Smith" Wullems and Cyrill "Murray" Wulms, the galloping bass rhythms of Peter "Harris" Rovers and the thundering drum fills of speed wizard Allan "Mc Brain" Gilissen make Powerslave a worthy Iron Maiden tribute. And when Eddie starts wandering around the stage, the Iron Maiden picture is complete.

10 YEARS OF SLAVERY!
In 2007 Powerslave exists for 10 years! Powerslave originally started in 1997 with Paul van der Hulst on vocals, Cyrill Wulms & Steven Wullems on guitar, Ronald Roodbol on bassguitar and Danny Princen on drums.
In 2002, Ronald was replaced by Peter Rovers on bassguitar and in the same year Pieter Paul Jetten took over the drums from Danny. In 2005 Don Feltges replaced Paul for vocals. Finally, in 2006 Allan Gilissen got Pier's spot behind the drums.

To celebrate the fact that Powerslave is still (very much) alive, new merchandise and a new promo will be released late 2007. All of this will be available at their live shows!

So if you feel like screaming Iron Maiden songs at the top of your voices, bang your heads to loud music then make sure you visit a Powerslave gig!

SANITARIUM - A Belgian Tribute To Metallica

sanatarium

Sanitarium came to live mid 2003. After a lot of rehearsing and finding the right bandmembers they hit the Belgian stages in december 2004.

It was their goal to enjoy themselves and the public. Trying to bring back the spirit and the feeling of old Metallica was a good way to do this. Being all Metallica fans and enjoying playing their music made it all come true.

Sanitarium focuses on the early Metallica years but isn't afraid to play some Metallica stuff from the late 90's. During the years of playing live Sanitarium learned that the public expects the classic songs like Enter Sandman, Master of Puppets, Seek & Destroy, One,... but also likes to hear some more less known and less played tunes like for example No Remorse, Trapped Under Ice or The Justice Medley.

It's not about copying the Metallica albums but about recreating the Metallica live experience. Studying Metallica's setlists, fitting songs together and alternate songs endings like Metallica does. Mix this with Sanitarium's endless energy, headbanging and interaction with the crowd and you get the ultimate Metallica feeling!

Sanitarium pays a Tribute to Metallica in a way it should be done: with dedication, lots of power and agression.

Every gig is a trip back to the old Metallica days.
