On August 1st, The Rock Temple presents the from NewCastle originating band RAVEN. Together with their Dutch colleagues of NON DIVINE they will perform from 8.30pm on. Doors will open at 7.30pm like most of the times, and the tickets will cost in Presale € 14.00 and at the Venue € 17.00.

METALPARTY: VOLUME 1

On March 27th The Rock Temple organizes an old-fashioned metalparty. There will be a lot of vid's and gigfragments shown on a large screen. In between Rock on Your Radio host Theo Samson will be playing all your musical requests, assisted by Ludy Wetzl, owner of The Rock Temple. There will also be some prizequestions held among the visitors. The prizes, donated by Eternal Rock, will consist out of 2 tickets to the URIAH HEEP concert in Heerlen and AXEL RUDI PELL in de Bosuil in Weert.

So would you like to go back to oldfashioned, nostalgic and simple times, when it was no exception that real cosy Hard-rock café's existed, without any hightechscreens where you can send your sms to charged € 2 for each, and the times when metalfestivals still only had 1 stage or you would bike home from a concert during windforce 9 with the latest DIO LP in a to small carry bag? Then this is your chance!

The doors will open that day at 8pm and the party starts at 9pm, lasting until approximately 1.30am.

The entrance is FREE!!!

High Voltage and more...

And again we have some new bands we want to present to you. On September 11th 2010, the AC/DC Tributeband HIGH VOLTAGE will perform in The Rock Temple. On September 24th 2010 it's another Tributeband that will steel the show. KISS FOREVER will have their first performance in our venue. The day after on September 25th 2010 it's JOHN COGHLANS turn for the second time in The Rock Temple. He will be supported by RAILROAD. Further is there another date for the cancelled THE HAUNTED & STATE:CHAOS concert. It will be held on June 5th 2010.

A few announcements

Again we have a few announcements for you. The first one is about the Parris gig of May 8th 2010. This gig will be post-poned until the 8th of October 2010. For the Jason and the Scorchers gig, we found a support-band. It's the Duke Session Band from Maastricht. The Duke, eponymous bar in Maastricht is also one of our pre-sale points for concerts to The Rock Temple. Last announcement to make is concerning the cd-presentation of PBII on March 13th. To give you an impression about what to expect of the new PBII album, Dick van der Heijde of progwereld.org wrote an extended preview that can be found via THIS LINK. (review = dutch language)

2 new Gigs

And again we added two more gigs to our Gigcalendar. The first band to announce is the American Southern Rockband BLACKBERRY SMOKE. The doors will be opened at 7.30pm and gig starts at 8.30pm. Tickets will cost in presale € 11.00 and at the venue € 14.00. Second band we would like you to know about is none other then the German Metalband AXXIS. They will visit us on August 21st. Doors will open like always at 7.30pm and gig starts also at 8.30pm. Tickets to the AXXIS gig will cost presale € 17.00 and at the venue € 21.00. Hope to see you there !!!

Steelheart and Support

The Rock Temple presents none-other than the American Rockband STEELHEART. The band that had a lot of succes in the nineties will perfom in our temple on april 29th @ 8.00pm. Doors will be opened at 7.30pm. Tickets cost in presale € 22.00 and at the venue € 25.00. More info about the (personal) story behind Steelheart can be found via the gig calendar.

And again we have another gig to put on our, already filled with great names, gigcalendar. The Dutch band My Favourite Scare fits right in.
